I have to share this as it was shared with me and it is far too funny to not spread it around.

This was an actual status update from a friend of a friend, it is the truth and was just posted today.


My mom thinks LOL stands for Lots of Love. She just sent me a text that read: Your aunt XXX died, LOL

I read this while on the phone and I couldn't help but laugh. Oh my .. funny...but not! Sorry about Aunt so and so!

My husband thinks the same thing!

I was visiting friends this summer and he kept texting me things, then writing LOL. It finally dawned on me. I said to my two friends, "Nick must not realize what LOL means."

The wife said, "Laugh out loud!" just as her husband said, "Lots of luck!"

But I have to tell that when I started here on VIOL, I really wondered what LOL meant. Hubby didn't know either, but my son could tell me.
