Sun on the webcams!

I am so gla to see the sun has coe out down there. From what I hear, the ialand took a beating. I heard both the Westin and Caneel gt hit really hard. Supposedly at Caneel most of the beaches have washed away. O one of th beaches at Caneel it washed so much beach away that it unearthed old Danish rock walls. The Westin pool and Snorkels have been overrun by mud and will have to be redone. Also, at Maho there is now at least a 3 foot drop from the road to the beach. Alot of the nice white sand what been reclaimed by the ocean. Many people have lost cars and parts of their patios due to mudslides and even the little fish cleaninig station next to Island Blues got washed into Coral Bay. This is so sad. I hope all of our forum mmbers on island made it through. It just makes you realize that it oesn't have to be a Cat 5 hurricane for their to be such destruction. May there be abunant sunshine for the next few weeks.
