Villa Tiffany or Casa Bueno

Post by Hawaii »

Hi everyone - Our plan was to be vacationing this past summer on St.John but did not work out that way. Anyway, we are hoping for June/July 2011. I have narrowed it down to Villa Tiffany or Casa Bueno. We are a family of four and the kids will be 13 and 10. Any thoughts on which villa? They both get great reviews. Will be first time to St.John.

We just booked Casa Bueno (Tiffany wasn't available our week). Have same age kids, girls 10 and 13. I thought they both looked great.

h, have only viewed tiffany on the website but sure looks nice. marc miller manages both villas you are looking at and does a super job.

we stayed at casa b late july early aug 2009, what a wonderful villa with absolutely breathtaking views. for your 1st trip to stj i would recommend casa b due to her more convenient location. i believe tiffany is accessed by going all way into coral bay and then back up bordeaux mt while casa b is approx mid island just off centerline rd near the bordeaux overlook. she's only about 5 minutes easy drive to maho and francis bays and significantly closer to cruz bay than tiffany. tif will of course be closer to coral bay and beaches on east end of south shore (salt pond lameshure) but a good 15 minutes farther from all north shore beaches.

We are staying at Villa Tiffany in Feb 11 so I can't offer a "been there" perspective but we spent several weeks look at/deciding on a villa and are pretty excited about our upcoming trip to our happy place. If you do a google search there is a pretty cool youtube video by a recent visitor to the villa. We considered casa bueno but it wasn't available when we were going so it made our choice easier.

Hawaii, I'll pm you. I don't want my villa name and dates together on the forum. It's filled with a bunch of creeps. LOL

VIOL member sherban has put together a great villa resource map:

I was not sure which villa you meant... vrbo for Casa Bueno has a useful map too.

This fun video shows Villa Tiffany, and is IMHO a good overview of one kind of St John experience. Loved the music!

I do not see Villa Tiffany on sherban's villa map... may have missed it!

This is only a guess... Based on photos from the villa website and this video, I think Villa Tiffany may be here:

If this is incorrect, please let me know and I will delete all this! Thanks!
