Donna, our favorite bartender,from Shipwreck Landing, has been in DC for a few days for a wedding of a couple of her friends and gave us a call this morning. We got together with her, her son and a childhood friend of hers that also used to live in Coral Bay. Had a great evening listening to blues at a place in Bowie,MD called Old Town Bowie Grill. It was fun seeing Donna away from STJ! Shipwreck Pat was up here, too, but we missed her.

I'm in the states right now for my annual visit and while I was leaving my favorite diner in Kalamazoo, Main Street Cafe, someone chased me and the hubby out the door and it was a St. John friend. She was wondering what we were doing in Kalamazoo. I basically lived at Main Street Cafe when I lived in Kalamazoo 11 years ago. Small world!
