I am a big fan of Morgan Point.
First, because the owner and his family are super nice people. Second, because it is a great bargain. Third, because I used to manage it and live below.

The house is really a 3 bedroom. There is a 4th bedroom at the pool level that used to be my apt. The Pool is where my driveway used to be.

The house is well maintained, but a little dated. The furniture and furnishings are in great shape but they may seem a little old in the "fashion" dept.
The kitchen is galley style and cramped for more than 2 people but it is open to the great room and well equipped.

The bedrooms are nice, not perfectly equal, so if you are coming with 3 couples, that may be an issue. I think it is perfect for 2 couples and some kids or a single.
The hot tub is private.

The view is great and so is the location. It is close to town. The driveway is a little steep.

As always...you'd better be right!

I'm staying there in late July. Reports will follow. And, if needed, a trip to go whoop on someone

Ok, you two- break it up!
So, it's in a safe neighborhood?
I'm not particularly worried, but friends of mine are looking for a place to stay for their first visit this fall, and I'd like to give them some assurance.
Thanks for the help.

Super safe. It is on Great Cruz Bay Road, just past the Westin.

It really does look like a good location (we stayed in that area in 2008) and the house is well recommended.

It looks like it will suit our needs and have the bonus feature of central air. That's a huge bonus. But, if it's got the same breezes as our last house, it will hardly be necessary. the views across the bay to the Westin at night are nice...little twinkling lights. I suspect the sunsets will be very nice too.

Thank Goodness they got rid of the little troll woman who used to live under the house. ;-)
