Travel insurance that covers pre-existing conditions

Post by FlaGeorge »

Does anyone know if there is a travel insurance company that will cover pre-existing conditions? I know that some companies state that they cover a pre-existing condition if the plan was purchased 21 or so days of your initial deposit. As we all know - most of us make that initial deposit almost a year out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

all of the plans I have ever seen had to be purchased within 10-15 days of your initial deposit in order to waive the pre ex condition. pre ex is usually defined as having had treatment for that condition in the 6 months prior to the purchase of the policy - read the fine print to be sure.
