Podcasts - what are your favs? Into Crew Lounge right now

Post by PA Girl »

I recently went "pod" and got an Itouch.

We needed email access for our upcoming trip, I already wanted an ipod and so on, now I am hooked!

I am now addicted to podcasts.

Right now I am listening to The Crew Lounge, which is a bunch of flight attendents/stewards that talk about their jobs and take listener questions. Funny an informative.

(They give some great information, BTW, on babies/child restraint/safety in episode 3 which might sway anyone on the do-we-buy-a-seat or lap-it fence)

Lay your favorite podcasts on me. I need to download a bunch for our upcoming flights. I will listen to just about anything, except sports or religion.

Have you ever listened to the VI Now podcast. It is Monday through Friday in the morning. He gives US Virgin Island news and weather, then a little VI music.

He also likes to poke a little fun at all of us who are not there.

Most of mine are technology and sports.

NPR has a healthy dose of goodness.

I have seen those podcasts before and wondered if they were current. Now I know!! I might have to download a few.

I only have one podcast and it is for running--it is the couch to 5K--I listened to it for the first time in a LONG time today. It was only 13 degrees today but it wasn't snowing so I finally got a little run in.

That is all I have--I will be SO interested to see what is out there.

Search for keywords on iTunes or see if you can install Google Listen on your phone (device) & stream it as you go. Sometimes I do that when I don't remember to put something fresh on my phone.

I've started to listen to Podcasts on my iPhone while I'm walking more than the old standby of music.
