Call in the dogs and sell the farm....
....and take the points and the Saints! The point spread has gone down to 4.5 from 5.5 a couple of days ago. It might be 3.5 by Sunday.
I just hope it's a great game

Before I call the dog in and put up the for sale sign, a couple questions for you Saints fans who see them play on a regular basis:
Are the Saints a good screen running team with Reggie Bush or others?
Have they had any kind of consistent rushing game in the later part of the season, at least enough to make the defense to react to play action?
The Saints will have the emotional edge at the start, but they did seem to get a little tight near the end of the Vikes game (Brees appeared overly cautious with some throws, etc.) How do they play as a team at crunch time in close games, including their field goal kicker?
How is effective is the Saints punter at putting the ball out inside the 15?
What other things do you like about your team and coach that us outsiders wouldnt know about?
I'm gonna post this on the Who Dat thread also, so sorry for the duplication, but some might see it there instead of here...

SJ - Gonna be tough for the Saints to do all three, but, it woulda been nice if you got a couple more points.
On item #2, since the Colts stopped the Ravens and Jets, they wont be able to do the long drives with the running game, but maybe more with a Bill Walsh-like game plan doing Montana like drives.
There is also a school of thought out there that the Saints just have to wind it up, engage in an all out shoot out, and just out score 'em, which Brees and company is capable of.
Agree they have to pressure, but also they need the LBs and safetys be able to cover those quick in routes Manning will go to on his hot reads when he throws over the top with those 1-3 step drops.
And yes, they HAVE to create turnovers.
PS I sent you a PM on another topic.
