I have no idea about the Costco coolers, but it seems like every softside we have gotten besides the Polar Bear will eventually leak or get wet on the outside if the ice melts a lot.

That's why I love them, PLUS they have the bottle opener on them. That is worth buying the cooler right there

Agreed. Someone on the forum (it may have been you) suggested the water bottle thing and we started to do that also. It does work well.
