Food stands in Coral Bay

Post by AquaGirl »

Has anyone tried the food stands (trailers) in Coral Bay where the road comes in to go to Salt Pond? They looked like they had some interesting local food and juices. I had read a little article in one of the local papers last year about the one called Fire Foods. Just curious if anyone has tried them because I never see anything in posts about them. We enjoy West Indian cuisine and are on the lookout for places to get it. We had great West Indian food at Sogos in Cruz Bay last year.
13 degrees tonight in DC area (which of course is balmy to the Wisconsin crew) and can't wait to get to STJ in April.
Thanks

John and I really wanted to try Fire Foods last trip, but it was closed every time we drove by it, except once, and we had just eaten at Miss Lucys. Maybe next time--I read that article too, and the food sounded really good. I'd also love to hear people's reactions to Fire Foods if anyone has tried it.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
