Flanders villa

Post by BasUR »

Is anyone familiar with this villa? I'm wondering if the bedrooms have AC and how high up the villa is. How are the breezes?
We usually like to stay in Catherineberg. How do the views compare?
Any other insight to Flanders villa?

Thanks!

Flanders Villa

Post by Sharon G »

We just got back from a 10-day stay at Flanders Villa. I'll post a review on the villa site in a few days. The villa is in Coral Bay, right off of Route 108 before the first turn. It has an incredible view of the harbor. The villa is new, nicely furnished, and has a great kitchen. It's laid out on two floors, the upstairs has a huge greatroom/dining/kitchen with an adjoining bedroom and bath. Downstairs is reached by steps off the covered deck and has 3 more bedrooms, each with it's own bath, and laundry room. All bedrooms have AC and king or queen beds. The pool is large by STJ villa standards and has a lovely patio. The great room was not airconditioned but didn't need to be. This house sits right in a mountain funnel and there was ALWAYS a breeze. In fact, we sometimes closed windows to cut down on the breeze in the great room. I stopped trying to style my hair because it was blown out of place as soon as I walked outside. We loved the villa and for the price, would stay there again.

Hi there

My family stayed there in June and had a great time - was it windy 100% yes - we could not eat outside at all during their stay due to the wind (don't wear any type of skirt unless you want to flash all of your friends  ) and they could not use the pool (I tested the water with my foot and I agreeded) as it was sooooo cold, and the wind (I mean gale), as soon as you stepped out, would have made you freeze, but they had a great time.

Thanks for the responses. Pia, are you familiar with Casa Luna (vivacations)? Just wondering what you think of that villa?
