Hi everyone!!

Well, I am finally back and I've missed all of you!!
Thanks to the Ladies who have stuck with me via e-mail. (((HUGS)))
So, here I am...my life has been turned upside down. My husband has been ill, he has always battled skin cancer and abnormal cells. He is just one big freckle. And it runs in his family. But, last year, Oct 31st to be precise, we found out he has a blood disorder that is almost leukemia, he also has non-hodgkins lymphoma, and prostate cancer that had gone to one lymph node. Well, the prostate and 8 lymph nodes are gone. He is on a cancer medicine for the blood disorder and the NHL is a wait and see what it is going to do before anything is done with it. He has two oncologists, both named Smith, how funny is that!
Plus, I lost my job of 28 years. That has worked out as I was able to stay home and take care of him, and, in 30 yrs of being together, the 6 weeks of his recuperation is the most time we've ever spent together at one time. It worked and now we know we are going to survive retirement.
Anyways, things are getting back to normal, my husband is back to work and feels great. So life goes on and here I am.
I've really missed everyone and hope I can be part of the board again. I hope everyone is well and I look forward to catching up with all of you.
Take care!
