How to return from Jost in the evening?

Planning on making a first trip to Jost in August. Seems like there is a lot to explore.

Everything Ive seen (ferry and charters) return from Jost in the early afternoon (3-4). Are there any companies or options to be able to stay at Jost into the evening and return to St. John?

I think the problem is not returning in the evening as much as it is clearing customs before it closes....I could be wrong, but this is how it seems to be....gotta clear customs by a certain time

Yea, you got to make it back to St. John in time to clear customs...I think 4:30-5:00 pm.

The first time I did Jost was the ferry both ways. I found that it didn't give me enough time there so now I bring a tent and crash at Ivans and leave in the morning.
