Some of my favorite STJ thoughts

Post by MarciaMarciaMarcia »

We're leaving in a few weeks for our annual mental health holiday on STJ. Since I'm still getting used to the new forum I just wanted to try out the photo posting option for my trip report. Here are a few of my favorite St. John memories....apologies in advance if I mess this up.

Happy feet

Thanks Marybeth. The tree is on the Caneel grounds. The beach in the far distance is Honeymoon. We didn't sty there but we parked in the Caneel lot and spent the morning at Honeymoon (one of my favorite beaches). Then we had lunch at the outdoor bar and strolled around the grounds. The tree was in full flower in mid April. It is so beautiful and I still have no idea what type it is. Anyone?

MarciaMarciaMarcia - I LOVE your pics!!!! They are so vivid. My favorite is the Happy Feet pic, but I love them all.

Thanks so much for sharing them - just what I needed on this rainy, dreary, and cold (although I am sure no where near as cold as all of you guys out west and up north have to deal with) day here!

Thanks so much and I'll happily post more. I love this new forum that makes posting pic pretty much idiot proof. The only thing I am wondering is if mine are just a little too big. I can resize them down a bit if necessary. Do you have to scroll over to read the message?

easy peasy! not sure I like the upload feature on photobucket though. I'm sure there's a way to get a bunch uploaded at one time. Just need to figure that out. What's my countdown?????

Thanks for the kind feedback. Somehow I can never believe that the sand is so impossibly white, but it is! 19 days!!!
