I am love, love, loving your trip reports. You don't even know how many times I wondered what you guys were doing on the sailboat while we were on STJ. I wish we could have had more time to talk, but maybe next time. You all sure know how to have fun. I think I'd pay your way if you'd take us on your next sailing excursion. :D

LOL @ that tender dingy. Ouchy!

parafins got it right when he said he was gonna do a trip like this when his kids are grown...

our oldest is 30 and our youngest is 12...I don't think it will ever happen...but I think VickiH
got rule number 11 right...and I know I can try that...

11) Painkillers for breakfast are ok.

Rick, we also had some funny moments when we'd decide to leave a mooring ball. Sydney & Rick would tag team the job reaching down to unhook us.

When Syd would come back to Keith, they'd say "Did you get off?" or "Did we get off". Of course they meant the mooring ball, but it sounded better than that. And I say "yeah, did you get off?" giggle giggle

VickiH wrote:Besides enjoying the hell of of 'em, I am learning a LOT from these reports. Gromit, add these tips to the list:

9) "Local foods from home" are to be brought and shared. (Note to self - pack pork rinds, PBR in the can, spam, and cheese whiz.)
10) If Keith asks if we want to be tendered, this is sailor-talk and is not dirty.
11) Painkillers for breakfast are ok.
12) Must learn to drink beer two fisted, like Kellee.
13) Do not confuse ziploc bag with jewelry for sale with "other" ziploc bag.

I am going to be an expert by the time you finish, Margo.
Rock and Roll, ya'll.
Gorgeous.
Took a nap in that same hammock April of '09.

deckhands, bartenders, maids, cooks, anything to get our butts on that boat.

Epic idea.

I'll have to remember to buy Carib and Cruzan futures in advance...

CAG, Awesome report and wonderful pics. Remarkable get-along-group! You are so fortunate.

Sorry to say I can relate to waking up with a bruise and wondering what embarassing thing I did to get it!

I thought I noticed one on K's leg also. Poor thing!

Sounds like deck fluff was alittle hard on herself!
