Catamaran Trip Report - Part 2
Pickle - It was really challenging for me to identify STJ beaches from the water. And really fun! Wait till you see the great shot I got of the cars at the Trunk Bay overlook! Fun!
I think you could go out for a day on a catamaran with some Bonine. I'm the original "motion sick kid" and never once did I feel even a second of motion sickness. I took Bonine the first 3 days, just in case, but after that I didn't take it any more. A catamaran doesn't "rock n' roll" like a single hull boat does.

CG - my husband also thinks I may be able to take a day trip on a catamaran... if I find a remedy that works for my motion sickness. Nothing works for me so far. During my only experience with sailing on a little sailboat, the water was calm and I still didn't do well. There were dolphins swimming right by the boat but all I could do was keep looking at the horizon (to keep my stomach down). Pathetic.
The photos from the water give me different perspectives of the beaches of St. John - I really love them. Now, I'm waiting for the great shot that you are talking about!

I made 150 and they were gone, between the B.B. Gathering, CAT trip ,and Margo, Rick and Kellee's overnight visit.California Girl wrote:All of the above, except for "a" and "e" LOL!Boston Mike wrote:Man I am loving this report. BRAVO!
Question?
Noticed a few empty jello shot containers in that bag. Riddle me this batman.
This was due to
a. Bev slamming a few down on the way to the boat
b. No place else to put them
c. you all had a few too many and gave it a break
d. just didn't want them to blow away
e. My answers are way off base.
We did have some left over and they lasted a day or two, but all shots were eventually consumed!
I'm appalled that you would think I "slammed a few down on the way to the boat". Actually I slammed MANY down while waiting for the boat to pick my fat ass up!

5) Don't confuse zip-loc bag with Jello Shots with "other" zip-loc bag.
Loving reading about the boating experience.
