Music events in New Orleans?

Post by linne »

Hubby is travelling to New Orleans Sunday morning, arrives about 5 AM local time and leaves again Tuesday morning. If he got the time, he wants to experience some New Orleans music.

Do you have a proposal for him about where to go?

Linne - pm me with how long he will be here and where he is staying (French Quarter, Marigny, Mid-City, Uptown, etc.) and I will point you in the right direction. Also, what kind of music in particular he is looking for (jazz, blues, cajun/zydeco, etc.).

I can also give you some recommendations for where he should eat that is more in line with where the locals eat.

Just a warning for him...it is HOT already down here and no tradewinds

I have send you PM twice but I cannot see them in my "sent box" ?

Thank you Wakey. I have saved the information for Hubby. It seems as if there is only two events on Monday. I thought there would be plenty in N.O.

Hi Linne
Check your out box if they are there she hasn't opened them yet. If they aren't there either make sure that you put something in the subjet line or it won't send

Thank you Tom. I wasn't aware that they had to be opened before I can see them in the sent box. So now she will have 3 PM from me, I believe :D
