question re: Stjohnisland discount card for Ruth or anyone

Post by sunlover »

I have been attempting to get one of these cards which purports to get you some pretty good discounts at stores/restaurants on the island. I completed the online application on stjohnisland.com in November and subsequently corresponded with the person in charge via email, who promised to send it. I never received the card and emailed again, but can't seem to get in touch with anyone. Incidentally, my credit card was never charged. Has anyone ever actually RECEIVED one of these? I have confirmed with some vendors that it is legitimate, but I'm getting really frustrated... I really want this card! St John spice is on the vendor list -- Ruth, do you know anything about this?

I bought one of these cards. I had to e-mail and remind to get it sent to me. I ended up using it once at Morgan's Mango. Not bad to have if you will be spending a lot and visiting the places on the card. Their is also a site that has free coupons that you can print out, think it is called coupon st john or something. I would try contacting him again.

Here is the website for the coupons. Just print them off and bring them along.

I printed out those coupons B4 I left....& found that I never used any of them! Most of the time you can get it cheaper than whats on the coupon! Or the things they offer on the coupon is pretty crummy!

Sunlover,
We almost never get these cards in the store and I can never figure out why. If they aren't sending the card out, that would definitely explain it! One time sometime did say they had waited a long time for the card, but I can't remember if she said she had been billed or not. I've been in the stjohnisland.com discount card program since probably 2001 or 2002.
If I were a frequent visitor to St. John, I would definitely try to take advantage of this, personally.
We do get a lot of the coupons for the www.couponstjohn.com site , and a few other retailers have mentioned to me that they get a lot as well.
I see it's been a few days since you originally posted this. (Sorry, I haven't been on the forum much.) Have you heard anything from them since your original post?
