Help with private messages please

I tried to send a pm to another poster, however it still appears to be in my outbox not in sent items even though I hit the submit button. Am I doing something wrong or is the PM feature not active yet?

I sent a private message to myself and it worked okay. Haven't tried to send to another user yet.

I am pretty sure that means they have received it. I have sent several that I know people got, and my outbox is empty but they are all in my sent box. Just semantics I think.

I sent two successfully, but one stayed in my "outbox". I wouldn't have realized it until you posted and I checked on it. I wonder why it didn't go anywhere?

I found this with a Google search.

It won't hit your sent box unless it's been read by the recipient - it should be in your outbox until that time.

Now we know.

Where do you find the inbox/sent box??

At the top of the page, under the blue line you will see "You have no new messages" (or "you have a new message"). Click on that and it takes you to your message center where you can access your inbox, outbox, sent messages & saved messages.
