Anyone have info on Roatan?

Post by shandrac »

We are thinking of trying Roatan as we've heard good things. Does anyone have info on the shore snorkeling and number of spots? Thanks so much!

My friend, Bob Millsaps, sold everything and moved there about 5 years ago. He is an active web programmer and still runs his business from there.

Here are some of his sites:

http://www.roatan.ws/

He is a wealth of travel knowledge for Roatan. check it out.

Ben,, I saw a guy on TV (House hunters International)from Minnesota who worked from his computer, sold everything, bought a monster house, and moved there. Is this they guy? I think it was more recent then 5 years though. Anyway, looks like great place.

Hey D,

No, this guy was a customer of mine here in Chattanooga for years. But..he did the same thing. Liquidated everything, and I mean everything. Bought a fully furnished nice house in Roatan and off he went. I thought he was crazy back then but I think I am beginning to see the wisdom of his ways.

Bob Millsaps and Photo Gallery

Post by Jim »

My wife and I rented a cabana from Bob and Lynne Millsaps in their community in Sandy Bay and loved it!
They totally enjoy Roatan and seem to be doing very well.
Check out Lynne's rental website at http://www.RoatanBeachFront.com and be sure to enjoy the photos of the week and month on Bob's http://www.Roatan.ws .
Their photo gallery speaks a million words.
We recommend Roatan to anyone looking for a Caribbean vacatioin with a back to nature, eco friendly, breathtaking adventure.
