Post by Nannerz »

This is a little video from our latest trip to the islands in December. You know me and those trip reports, I like to show you rather than tell you. Enjoy! :D

Thanks for all the nice compliments. This was the second trip we took in 2008, for Christmas. Our previous Summer 2008 videos were popular, so I felt like sharing some new footage. This also was the 1st time my little girls had been. As you can tell, they LOVED it!

Great stuff, nannerz! Thanks for sharing! Did you all stay on St. Thomas, or just do a day/night trip over for the festivities?

Love your vids!

Who's the musician? Also, who did the "Spongebob" song on the summer vid?

We stayed on St.Thomas and the clip from Charlotte Amalie was taken at the annual Christmas Festival "Miracle on Main Street". (Main St-downtown) They also had a parade of boats in the harbor. A really nice night.

Summer Video songs were "Your House" by Bob Marley & Steel Pulse and "This Must Be the Place-Naive Melody" by Talking Heads. The latest was "Amber" by 311.

We had so much footage, there might more to come.

Camera is High Definition Sony HDR-FX1 with special underwater housing and video edited with Sony Vegas Pro 8

Bert, We stayed at the Wyndham Sugar Bay. It's a nice hotel for what we enjoy, especially with the All Inclusive option. Lots of activities for the kids and only 5 minutes from Red Hook & Coki Beach Dive Club.
