Help me with Airline travel!
Help me with Airline travel!
Coming from Wisconsin - cheapest will probably be from Chicago O'hare as much as I hate that airport - advice on who to fly (to get the least amount of stops) and what is the average price so I know when I am seeing a good price. We are coming down in the beginning of November!
Thanks!
Thanks!
A lot depends on your travel dates. Summer vs. winter
I like to use Yapta: http://www.yapta.com/
Generally speaking from any of the east coast hubs (maybe fom the midwest it might be a bit more but this is my guide) for RT:
Anything under $500 is OK
Anything under $400 is Good
Anything under $300 is VERY GOOD - BUY BUY BUY!!!
Based upon what folks have said on the forum in the past it seems like you can add $100 to each of those numbers for flights form the midwest and the same structure would apply.
Anyone else have any input?

I haven't pay over 400 ever flying out of ord most of the time it is 300 or less United, US airways and AA are your best bet with Spirit be my last choice.

We live in WI, too. I just snagged flights on USAir for our late Spring trip, out of ORD. $325.00 (maybe it was $327.00 but whatever) round trip. Cannot beat that! There is one stop, in Charlotte on the way down and Philly on the way home. Flight times rock, too.
I did this all through Expedia. You just need to keep at it and one day, a deal with break through.
Oh, and we don't mind flying out of ORD. We drive down the evening before, stay in a park/sleep/fly and do the same on the return...
Any questions, feel free to PM me.
Good luck!
