We've been away for several days (Cape Cod--great weather), so I'm just catching up with this thread and the related OT thread.
I'm curious. Have most people's impression of STJ been changed by this info and analysis? Do most people now consider STJ to have a very high crime rate and to be unsafe? And if so, are people now going to seek out less high risk places to vacation?

I tend to agree with Jorge on this one. pj and I were jusst discussing this today. These reports have not changed my thoughts about STJ, nor have they changed my intent to visit there as often as possible, or my desire to live there some day. One just has to be aware of one's surroundings and environment no matter where they happen to be. I will continue to care for STJ the same way I always have.Lex wrote:
