JoAnn - I was serious - what's funny is that when we got there and found them sitting at the table on the deck admiring the view with a beer in each of their hands, we just said hello and went to our pods. When we came out, they were just leaving.

How, in this economy, can any company not fight hard to serve their customers/clients? Again, where is this CV person?

Pete and I have no definite plans to return to STJ. Not because it's a bad place, we just have other things going on in our lives. However, we are always in tune to what's going on and care...

I am saddened and frustrated, all at the same time.

Are you kidding?
I think I'm pretty laid back about service in the islands but I would have reported that. Is the the same landscape company? I'm guessing yes since it is the same management company. If anyone would be willing to pm me the name I want to make sure they are not servicing the villa we are renting in April.

One time John and I came back to our villa to find the mid-stay cleaning people sitting out on the deck enjoying the view. I didn't blame them--it was a great view! If they were drinking my beer I would have been a little annoyed though. :D

I don't know how I would have reacted to the gardners sitting on my deck drinking MY beer. It guess it would depend on my mood and the amount of alcohol I had consumed. I don't think I would be upset about them taking a break and sitting on the deck but I wouldn't have liked them helping themselves to MY beer. That's just wrong.

How did they get the beer? If the villa was locked, I would be wild. If it was outside in a cooler, maybe not too wild, but really, that is still taking something that did not belong to them.

The gardener for the house we rented in April is a great guy that I used to use, so if it were him, I think I would have laughed, but a stranger drinking my beer? I am not sure how I feel about that.

Xislandgirl, nothintolose said that the kitchen was an outdoor pod so it wasn't locked but I agree with you. I don't care if the beer was in an ice bucket and they were dying of thirst, it didn't belong to them and they helped themselves to someone else's stuff. That's theft and totally unacceptable.
