You know you are addicted to the USVI forum when......
Moms
Marybeth,
I can only share this cause my mom doesn't have a computer.
Pretty much every phone call from her starts with - "Are you working hard or hardly workin'?".
Yes, I must laugh everytime! You've got to love MOMS!!
(I am sure that my 2 twenty something daughters have no mom stories about me!!??!!)

I've got one...
When you KNEW you were overly addicted to the forum and so went cold turkey in favor of snowboarding season. Crap, now that warmer weather is approaching I'm headed towards full on addiction again....

When you sell your Mercedes convertible to buy a Jeep Wrangler because it reminds you of St. John.
When you buy specific luggage because it "looks like island luggage."
When the favorites on your computer are: this forum, On-St. John, News of St. John, St. John Tradewinds, St. John Source, and St. John Sun Times. Like you live there and need the news or something.
When you check the weather on St. John even when you don't have an upcoming trip.
When you have an entire playlist on your iPod dedicated to your "island songs" so that you can listen to them when you need a "St. John fix."

1) When about 50% of my day (at work
) is spend cruising this form when I have no firm trip planned. Since now I do and as the countdown continues until June 27th, the percentage of time NOT WORKING increases exponentially.
2) When my husband starts to question my obsession with this board and wonders if any of ya'al are sexual deviant predators lurking on the board ready to pounce. ......and then I have to tell him "yes!"

when you have a conversation with your husband about how nice all the people are on the USVI forum and how they are so different than other forums and you go into details like "there are sometimes differing opinions but rarely any flamethrowing".
This forum is really unique and something to treasure in the big impersonal world of the internet. Sometimes people get so brave (and nasty) when hiding behind screennames, I am so glad this forum has very little of that! This is indeed the only forum I have EVER been on where I've seen someone who may have been a little snarky actually come back and apologize for their attitude! Really an amazing group! Even if my husband looks at me with the "whatever" look when I try to explain it to him.
