Actuly I was told they work for noseeums too they would hook them to their belts when fishing from the beach at sun down

OMG! You are not kidding! Lucky for us we were there (Aug 10 to Aug 25) before the Fay storm and through it so we got quite a few days w/o the darn things. Now, I'm from TX and am quite used to them, but not to the "post Fay rain" level. It was crazy!
