I think the SOTB of 2007 would agree that a view and a breeze were great to have! We enjoyed that immensely. No problem for me with looking in the East End. Like Cypress says, we were in bed relatively early....some of us even went to bed and then got up again!! And I'm all for keeping the cost down as far as it goes, since I'm hoping this will be my 2nd trip down there in 2008.

And Kenny, if you are reading this, I have managed to contribute a lot of funds your way over the past 5 or so years...anything you can do for us?? Some Cruzan?

I think that makes 9 possible new members for '08. SuzyQ, that great!!

Maybe we should start e-mailing, instead of continuing this thread for hundreds of posts. I think my e-mail is accurate, so if you guys want to, we can share e-mails and continue our conversations that way.

Planning is half the fun!!! :D

Duh - me who wants a view didn't notice that Paulette didn't have one

Ristaba looks good; Tennis Villa has some good recommendations.

I'll try the East End; not sure I've ever been there - maybe once.

Oceana looks nice too. That's Vacation Vistas. Lisa Durgin is great. I think it's 12 max, so it may be too small.

I think I am in. I just talked to Chip and I think he is OK with it. I will continue to follow up with him the remainder of the week (ok, I got him drunk before asking but yes means yes)

Here are my requirements: Cheap but with a pool and a view. :D a hot tub would not be horrible.

Great Expectations holds 14. Wonder if we could add a couple of air mattresses or roll aways if needed?

Maybe even 3 villas and 3 cars.

We stayed at Villa Cielomar in June and there are 2 other villas right there that share the same pool but I can't find them on the internet. We could walk to town if we want and the price is right.
Does anyone know the names ot the other villas?
It's just an idea, but if I keep the cost low I will have more support from my husband regarding another trip. :D

HI,

That is part of the Villa Caribe condominiums. I think Villa Soleil and Villa Larimar are the others.

I'm looking at Frank Bay neighborhood for my second week with Don. The only downside of these condo's is that there is no off-street parking. When we stayed across the street last year, it seemed that the street spaces were always full; but not sure if anyone got left out.

PS - I emailed Great Expectations to see if a couple of aerobeds would be doable - but thinking multiple condos might be better.

Agreed sea-nile. I'll try to find those other villas. Here is a 3 villa combo that looks pretty good and affordable.
Great Views
3 pools, 2 hot tubs
Will hold 20 total: If we have 18 we could put 6 gals in each one.

Palm, Seawatch and Coconuts...1-3 minutes apart.
