Old Deckhand,

Now that you have seen how hard your wife has been working to present this vacation idea to you, you pretty much have to go, don't ya?

Just print out the list of "incentives" suggested on these forums and I am pretty sure you will have an awesome trip.

An update! I found a great sale last week on a trip to Puerto Rico, and some friends of ours expressed an interest. Wyndham Rio Mar. $475/pp for air, 4 nights stay, breakfast included. Well, this weekend we had Pool Party Part 2 :P . Booked the trip right then (in a somewhat drunken stupor -- we made rum punch this time) for hubby, myself and 2 other couples! I know, I know. I'm a VI traitor. It's not the VI - - but we're close!! The Marriott deal at $299 for 4 nights just couldn't compare in terms of $$ once I included the airfare costs.

I only wish that ferry from Fajardo to STT ran more than once or twice per month! Otherwise I'll just have to look longingly to the east to my precious VI!

Yippee! Good for you. There's nothing wrong with a little rum punch to help out in the decision making process. I'm sure you'll have a great time and since it's not the VI's, you'll just have to plan that one too!

Please post about your PR trip when you get back. We would like to add on a stop in PR sometime on our way back from St. John, just for a little something different.

Did you notice the date Steve? :)

Anybody know what that spill did to marine life over the past 13 and a half years?

Sorry, right story, wrong article. I heard on the news this past weekend.

And yes, I edited the previous entry, so Teresa and Pia's comments won't make sense - sorry
