Now is when the hard work starts.
Thanks again to all of you for your prayers, support and encouragement. There are a lot of things this Forum cannot do. That is one thing you do well.
Thanks

The physical therapy has begun on everything except the one leg. She will probably be back in the water the day they take the cast off her leg. She has reminded the entire medical team that she has 91 days to get back into shape. This is starting to look like an NFL type recovery. She does not intend to be "out for the season." It's amazing what a motivated patient can accomplish. She was prescribed up to 12 pain pills a day (one to two every 4 hours). She is already down to 3 per day.
Anyone who thinks they are going to get in the way of this had better be prepared to have some wheel chair tracks somewhere on their body.

Best wishes to Diana for a speedy recovery and rehab. The gang at Low Key will be able to take care of her ... and if they can't, there's always the Beach Bar!!
By the way, I see you've changed your signature line. I was listening to that last Saturday night with a very heavy heart ... we were leaving St John Sunday morning.
Take care,

Here is one more update for all of you. We left, right on schedule for STJ on June 24. We were snorkeling at Maho that same afternoon. On the morning of the 26th we took our first dive. The crew set her up in the last seat and helped her to the stern by carrying the weight of her tank.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/2 ... 0042"></a>
Once in the water, weightlessness took over and the dives were fairly normal.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/2 ... 0001"></a>
When she returned to the boat she inflated the BCD and took it off in the water. They pulled the BCD out of the water and she climbed the ladder.
It was a great trip. The video is nearly complete. I will post it soon.
Thanks
JIM
