Forgot all about my MASTER PLAN. I have it in a soft binder...not even kidding. I even organize it in the order I'll need things - flight confirmations, car rental info, house info ... it is an illness.
Marcia has the same illness. Like you, she organizes all of it in the order it will be needed. I'm not saying that she's type A...let's just say that she is efficient.

.
i can't rely on hubby to have the trip insurance info, the house greeter phone number, the ferry schedule, a list of bands playing in coral bay for the week, miss lucy's phone number and on, and on and on....

Container of Gatorade concentrate powder to mix with ice water to replace salts and electrolytes and avoid dehydration from heat and alcohol.

I don't know if this is unusual but I can't live with out this.
Band aid brand anti itch gel This is an amazing product, I always itch like crazy for some reason in the islands
I also was told by a bartender that gin helps with itching as well.

Oh Sandy's post reminded me of a product I always travel with.
Band-aid Blister Block! a fantastic little product, and well worth the little space it takes.

Shoemak38...I'm sure your kids aren't that unusual??? LOL!
I have a STJ only toe ring, too. It matches Marcia's STJ only toe ring...it's a thing.
Thanks Pete... my Mrs. has a matching one also of course. A visit to St. John lets you "un-uptight" yourself!
This would probably make it's own thread - "What Goes on STJ, Stays on STJ"
How long does it take, for a piercing hole to heal closed? Just curious...

Not sure how unusual these things are (not very from what I've read so far

) but I guess I could certainly make the trip next time without them!
My trip book - yep, like others, a bunch of stuff that I print and organize in a binder.
IPOD and portable speakers.
Instant Oatmeal - I have to have it for breakfast in the morning, and I like to have "my" brand.
Earplugs - I wake up at the slightest noise.
Comfy House Shoes & Socks - no I don't wear the socks with sandals! I just like to have socks or house shoes on my feet when I walk around inside the house.

Rosi - You need to come out to Southern California!
Margo.......I lived in S. CA for 7 yrs. The only dudes with anklets were gay or some surfers.

I would have NEVER thought to bury my camera in the sand. That's brilliant! (unless of course everyone sees you dig the hole) It also doesn't work too well for the larger DSLR cameras unless you pack a shovel!
I just ordered my Gorillapod. I've seen cheaper imitations and almost bought one of those several times.
Instant Oatmeal though is good. We've taken that to Disneyworld before with the kids!

If I'm going Carry-On Only, I leave anything pointy behind, otherwise...
1. Baggies (vrs sizes)
2. Duct Tape (Don't leave home without it)
3. Bottle-Can Opener/Cork Screw Combo
4. Glasses Repair Kit
Each & every one of these have saved my bacon at least twice.
