PA Girl wrote:What was up with the lady on the plane!?!
We actually spoke with one of the attendants during the whole debacle (we were waaaay in the back, near their station). She told us that the woman was just being a jerk. Apparently, her party was late in boarding to begin with (how you can be late in boarding when the flight is already 5 hours late is beyond me), and the woman was taking too long to sit down--arranging her things just so, stretching out a blanket, etc. They asked her twice in person to sit down, and also made three announcements over the PA system. When the FA asked her to sit for the third time, she replied that "they could just wait until she was good and ready to go." That was it for her, they kicked her off. Of course, then she refused to leave. The FA told us that if she was drunk they would have brought police on board to pull her off, but since she was not they wanted her to go of her own accord. I don't know why.

Liamsaunt! I was on your plane too! That whole scene was ridiculous ! I thought for sure they were going to make everyone get off the plane. I know everyone wanted to kill that lady - Especially after being delayed as much as we were anyway! What a small world :)

Great start to your report! After all the posts I need to try to find Ting in August. Looking forward to reading more!

Thanks! Now I can focus on work, not. (really - too many good reports are distracting me)

I may be odd but I like sitting near the stations and dishing with the attendants. Last trip there was awful weather that caused the sold out PHL-STT flight to be 1/3 full. The stewards were telling us all sorts of passenger horror stories. It was amusing.

The menu is pretty limited, and did not seem overpriced to us (except for the $16 hamburger—what’s up with that??)
My husband and I wondered about that as well. We went there for lunch too and I had the steak sandwich, which was fantastic...and it was something like $4 less than the hamburger! Unless they're grinding up steaks to make burgers, I have no idea why the hamburgers are so pricey.

That's a great start on the report. I want to see the rest of your pictures.

There's always a risk when you take U.S. Scare. None of them are good any more, but they seem to have more problems than most. It sounds like the ejected passenger was trying to punish the airline for making her so late. I didn't say it made sense. It's just what is sounds like.

Jerry Jeff Walker is a singer/song writer who wrote, among other things, Mr. Bojangles. The story is that he wrote it while he was in the Orleans Parish jail in New Orleans --- and he wasn't there doing a social work paper.
Man it's like some dream we live down here....

Ting is a little like Fresca, but not carbonated and more fruity. I love it. I buy it at Mixology Warehouse.

I realize that everyone's palate is different. I however think that Ting tastes like "Squirt" soda pop, only slightly more bitter. It does mix well with Vodka. I haven't tried it with rum yet.
Going "home" again October 26th!
