It's strange, because I'm not usually a country music kind of girl, but Zac Brown Band tops my island playlist. Down in the Islands is my favorite, followed by the obvious Where the Boat Leaves From and Toes. Then, as long as I'm in an island country vibe, I'll add Guitars and Tiki Bars by Kenny Chesney ("When I've had it up to here, I go down there" - sums it up perfectly)

My island play list also includes loads of Buffet, Marley, Innervisions, Mraz, Jack Johnson, etc. I have a few little more unusual ones in there also - Like Cyndi Lauper and Will Smith - I am, after all, a child of the eighties

I was just telling my son about seeing Michael Hedges live when I lived in Atlanta...that guy was amazing, I saw him live 3 or 4 times. I had bought his CD and I thought it had to be 2 or 3 guys playing together, got to the concert and it was one guy on a six string acoustic...I was amazed.

His CD "Aerial Boundaries" has some great music for watching sunrises and sunsets, check him out if you don't know him...I need to add some to my playlist.

Unfortunately he passed years ago, ran his car off the road in CA, such talent that guy had....

I will put in a plug for the new (ish) Jimmy Cliff album "Rebirth." It came out last year. If you have not heard it and you are a reggae fan, you should really check it out. He still sounds great.

I am glad this thread came back. I have written down a bunch of new songs to check out later.

We were out on Kekoa today. Wish I had their playlist. It was eclectic and basically awesome. Heard a reggae version of John Denver's Country Roads by Toots and the Maytals.
