Not that I'd ever discourage anyone from returning to Caneel, but you can get the mango and coconut products online!

I actually stumbled across a pre-trip beauty product at our local Beauty Brands (not sure if they're nation wide). It is called Tan Towels. I was looking for something to cover my winter white skin and the sales lady told me she used these things and they work great. No mess, no odor, goes on like a wet wipe, and in seconds it's dry. In a few hours, you have a nice tan that lasts for several days. You can apply it a few days in a row for a deeper tan. I found twice to be perfect. www.tantowel.com

always designate 1 checked bag for lotions/beauty products for our family of 4. suddenly starting to feel a bit anal. here's last year's inventory:

coppertone #'s 4,6,8,15,50; coppertone water babies #'s 45,50; coppertone sport #'s 15,30(sweatproof? you're kiddin' me); hawaiian tropic #'s 4,6,8,15,30; banana boat #30 to keep the bullfrog #30 honest; 2 lrg. aerosol deepwoods off 26% deet, 2 lrg. deepwoods off non-aerosol 26% deet, 2 small deepwoods off sportsman non-aerosol 96% deet; 1 lrg. each nivea body essentially enriched & nivea body original; 4 neutrogena spf 15 chapsticks; 4 tubes blistex; 2 bars each white dial and dove soap; 1 aveda scalp benefits,1 l'oreal kids, 1 johnson's baby shampoos.

that doesn't include my wife's make-up kit. bear in mind, she is from japan, tans, rarely burns, and the kids take after her in that regard. but i plan to pack about the same way this june, 'cause i burn like a fried egg on the salt flats in summer. plus, i'm adding a 3 oz. bottle of all of the above to our carry ons! :D  :D

Dave, Are you afraid of running out of something? Oh my goodness. You know you can buy that stuff there if you run low on something!you could save a whole suitcase by packing less sunscreen!

Right now they are only showing the mango products, but I've purchased the coconut shampoo and conditioner in the past, so check back. This is the best stuff, and yes - it always makes me think of Caneel, which was our first trip to St. John.
