Re: Buzzkill? No, Cluck kill... Not on my watch!
54b - Now that is funny!
I agree with TTCheryl's advice about working in a restaurant first. I don't know if there is a business out there that can loss money faster than a restaurant.
I was an analyst at a bank for a number of years that had a no-loans-for-bars/restaurant policy.

And I have a credit on file for all restaurants and bars that want to do business with me. Unless they can prove they've been open for 10 years or more.PA Girl wrote:54b - Now that is funny!

Thanks for all the nice words...what's interesting about that Top 10 is if you've been to the Tourist Trap, you know they've nailed about half or more of those items. I actually wrote that after my trip in 2009, but it still works I think.
As for the Trip Report from a few weeks ago, still figuring out how I want to do it and tracking down all our pics as it seems any trip report without pics on this forum might as well be in French.
Here's a little taste though...
At Salomon, about the 4th inning of my own personal Get In The Water & Drink A Beer game when my wife, who is pregnant, not drinking and most definitely non-plussed with this conversation...
Me: "Wow, look as that, that's cool."
Wife: "It's a freaking bird."
Me: "Yeah, duh, I know it's an f'ing bird"
Wife: No, Genius, I said, it's a F-R-I-G-G-E-T Bird."
Me: "Oh."

It’s not about yesterday or tomorrow...It’s about today, for come what may – Sun, rain, or hurricane – we've only time for a smile, and none for sorrow

Given the challenges of the roads and steep terrain I would think that a Taxi service to and from any villa on the island would be welcome. I know that I would use the service. As I am the driver of the jeep when we visit the island I have to refrain from having more than a couple of drinks because I have the responsibilty of getting everyone back safe. It would be nice if there were a taxi service to do that for us especially when such festivities like the Halloween party at Skinny's was going on.
54b: Funnier than Letterman!
Hilariously funny and so true! There's nothing like laughing (honestly) about ourselves. You crack me up!
