I don't think the 12 pack will be too small for you. We have 4 guys in our group of 7- all big eaters- and I plan to bring enough food for all 7 of us for at least 2 dinners, plus some lunches and snacks, and I still don't think we'll fill up the 48 pack. If it's just 3 of you and you're not trying to bring food for the whole trip I think you'll be fine (I'm picturing the 12 pack as roughly 1/2 the size of my 48 pack). I bet someone that owns a 12 pack can tell you what they can get in it.

Thanks Laura - I didnt want something too big considering once we get to the Westin we put our meat in the freezer and then we can use the 12 pack for the beach. And to ur point, the wife and lil one can only take so much of "daddy's grilling", im sure they're going to want to get the spicy pulled pork sandwhich with a side of fries at the Westin's beachfront luncheon...yum!

Studio, hillside. We usually spend half our time at the Westin, other half driving around from beach to beach. Its a little tough with our daughter, but she'll be 2 and a half roughly this time round, hopefully a little easier

The Westin is so easy with kids. We have been bringing ours since they were 5 and 2. Have spent many hours in that pool, and the sweet ladies at the bar make them smoothies. We love the lady that braids their hair by the pool- her name escapes me but we always pay her a visit. We have a week in a studio hillside as well- in the summer. We're going at the end of this month with no kids (1st time in a villa!), then back again in August with the kids. They are now 9 and 6 and they LOVE it there so much- STJ is like home to them. I think we'll be able to start renting houses more often with them- needed the little one to get a little older first.

Yep, us August as well (last week) - hot but we like it that time of year, water is warm as well. Good luck with the villa, hopefully, if we can get more people to come with us, we'll do that as well...

We took the 12 pack size last year. We took enough meat to serve 6 dinners and several breakfasts over our 9 night stay. It's big enough.

Good to know, plan on doing a bunch of steaks, marinated wings, hot dogs, keilbasa and burgers. Besides, its a toss-up once all the meat is in the freezer, do i stock my 12 pack polar bear with Tropical Mango Pale Ale or a bottle of Mango Cruzan...hmmmmm

can you carry-on that 48 pack size? dimensions total 47", isn't carry on limit 45"? or don't they really care about it?

It looks like you can carry on any size of the polar bear coolers:

I just ordered 2 of the 12 pack size coolers and used the 2 for 1 code - thanks Barb Y! The 24 and 48 pack size were back ordered until May.
