Great responses all! I'm torn between two answers:

1) "Drunk" shopping in Cruz Bay with a painkiller in hand. 8)

or

2) Walking down the stairs at Trunk Bay gradually in the morning so you see more and more of the crystal-clear, calm, turquoise water with each step.

The island exceeds our expectations so much, that we're comfortable inviting friends and family to share it with us.

What about that hot, salty blast of air that hits you when you step off of the plane....

or sitting on Little Cinnamon all by yourself...

I would say mine is the "ahhhhhh" feeling you get when you step off the ferry - there is no other feeling like it!
Or the "ahhhh" relaxation of popping a cold Carib next to a palm tree on the Roanoke.

Looking out from the ferry after a long flight with the feeling that I'm home!

Stretching out on sun-heated cobblestone beach to warm up after a lonnnng snorkel, listening to the waves rake the stones back and forth at the shoreline.

Bliss.

Tough one....

But, I would have to say - Strolling along the waters edge at Trunk Bay, at sunset, holding hands with my husband, most often watching a couple exchanging vows and starting their new life together.

It always strikes me odd...here we are in our bathing suits, swimming or walking in the water & here are these lovely little wedding parties taking place.

Just a very sweet, romantic time for all, including us!

The way that I feel inside by just being there. It is something I don't feel anywhere else! Complete ease, feels like all is good in the world!

Great thread Vicki! Thanks for starting it. While reading this I have this crazy whirling in my chest reading others response. Don't worry not a heart attack just a longing to be there. Thanks!
