It's down a side road past Tamarind Court on the right.

cptnkirk, the TRs have gotten a little repetitive and there's a lot more good ones out there for newbies to reference. I figured a little low season teasin' was a good idea. Plus, it was good to reflect in preparation for the Halloween trip!

nothintolose, how hard is it to get to London from NoLa? We're considering doing Jazz Fest next year and then spending a couple of weeks in the UK and Franconia. I figured a triangle fare might take us back via DC anyways.

Cheers, RickG

We hit the ACC shelter after serious happy hour action; the dogs walked me. Good thing they knew the way. Leslie, I think it was, was happy to see us and just gave us the dogs and told us to have fun. There's a reasonable around-the-block way to walk. Many hands make quick work.

That sounds about right... Woody's happy hour + Dogs = Them taking you for a walk. 8) It will make me feel better too spending time with the shelter dogs. Knowing that I'm leaving my dog at home for the first time since getting her. Hmmm think I'll have to give Leslie a call and ask if there is anything I could bring with me that they could use...treats, toys, etc. (If you haven't notice yet..I kinda have a soft spot for dogs)

I don't know how I missed your report until now! Thanks for doing one. We haven't had many trip reports lately.

Lucky you to be going back so soon!

I saw the title and figured it was an older thread that had been brought back by a recent post - I guess that shows how well I've been paying attention.

This STJ place looks intriguing - I may have to give it a try some time...
