That looks great ! Hope the Fatty Crab is alive and well when I finally get back to STJ in January.

Just shelled some fresh fava beans for a spring salad...

A lobster BLT from the Maine Diner. First lobster of the season!

That BLT looks good. I am going to steal that idea. Lobster was on the menu at my place yesterday too. Mom chose a classic New England style lobster roll on a griddled bun for Mother's Day linner:

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

I had this in London last week. It was the best thing I've had in ages. Greens, sauteed onions, slivers of parm reggiano, asparagus, egg. And so pretty !

Wow that does look interesting - how was that egg cooked? By a torch? Or was the whole thing under a broiler or in an oven for a bit?

You are quite the chef, Anthony.

I am not sure how they cooked that egg. I am finally home from my travels and want to make a version of that dish for dinner tonight. Perhaps I will just do a poached egg--

That was mostly left over roasted vegetables - including fennel I think. I sautéed a large onion chopped rough, threw in the rest of the vegetables (eggplant and zucchini mostly I think) and the beat up about 10 eggs with a little cream, poured that over the top, threw in some chunks of goat cheese, parsley leaves - and then once it was a little "set" finished it in the oven.

Finding more food pics. Just simple fried rabbit and chicken - made this at a friends house in France a couple of summers ago:

Rabbit is a favorite of my grandmother's but I never saw it fried, interesting. She complains that no one hunts small game anymore and she misses cooking rabbit.
