Fun report. Love the way you let the pictures carry a lot of the narrative. Thanks for putting the report together and sharing.

Thanks for putting together your trip report! Your pics are awesome, of course. What a really cool thing, Mel playing guitar on the beach on Jost. LOVE IT!

Sandy-- you shoud remind folks that your photo contest was with a basic camera -- not your usual fancy one.

You are such a great photog and it shows no matter what camera you use!!

Great TR sorry we missed you this time!

Hugs!
*Another fine scatterbrained production

Your right Gromit, I forgot to mention that. I lug around about 50 pounds of photography equipment almost every day while working in DC, from laptop computers, lighting gear, 2 cameras, and different lens. When I'm on vacation, I've decided to leave all of it at home.
We both had point and shoot cameras, I lost mine on this last trip due to the housing flooded, have no idea what happened or what I did wrong. Plus, I did not want to drive my husband nuts making him stop so I can take photos, this is his vacation as well and I did not want to make it into a photography safari. We had a ball trying to out do one another. He totally won with his shark photo.
Doing underwater photography is my hobby, I'm not stressed if I miss a shot, I have no clients to worry about. I just want to have fun. It has brought back some of the joy I used to have when I started out as a photographer. When you do it has a business, you photograph some very boring events.
Some of you are truly talented when it comes to photography, I look at your photos and amazed. Liamsaunt, her underwater photos are just amazing to me and hope to get that good one day. Also Vicki is very talented and should try and sell some of her photos.
Thank you all for your nice comments, We did have a great vacation thanks to many on this board and the opportunity to meets some of you made it even more special to us.

From Mel:
It's as Samick Greg Bennett Travel Acoustic guitar 36" TT65. Don't buy one. Terrible tone. I bought my kid a Baby Taylor Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar. Better in every way.
