Thank you MB. The due date is June 25th. I will be so disappointed if it happens while we're at St John. I haven't told my husband yet but if she does go into labor while we are there we are taking the next flight out!!!

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts.
She really is such a sweet, happy baby, and most importantly, healthy. I'm so thankful.

As for her name, I've always liked Fiona,so after much consideration,we decided to go with it,
even though it is the same name as the princess in the movie Shrek. (Thanks, Waterguy :) )
I've asked the family not to call her our little ogress if they can resist  ,
I'm hoping the movie and its sequels sort of fade out of popularity in the next few years. We'll see.

It's pretty tricky for the Name Game, though....Fiona Fiona bo Biona, banana fanna fo Fiona, me my mo Miona, Fiona.
Try saying that fast.

Genevieve is for Greg's 90 year-old grandmother, who was named after her own grandmother, and she's just thrilled.
She says this little one gave her a reason to hang around a little longer.

Jo Ann,
You're right. It was Labor Day(s), even though it wasn't September 1st.
Congratulations on your grandbaby! I'm so happy for you. It really does seem to be baby season. My sister is due April 5th, and Greg's sister is due April 20th. Two of my cousins are both due this month.
I hope it spares your vacation. Let us know how it's going and when you know boy or girl. I hope you live near them so you can see the baby often.

Marybeth,
Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts. I know you had pm'd me and I kept meaning to respond, but you know....

PA Girl,
I know what you mean. I was never particularly interested in babies before, but WOW! I really notice them now. I know a lot of it is just hormones, but I've cried at several things on TV lately about people whose babies are sick or missing, etc. I feel so silly because I'm so not like that normally, but I totally understand what they're going through now.
About our next trip, I've been telling my husband just that. We need to go while she is "parkable". I've seen more than one sleeping quietly in a carrier or sling at the Beach Bar.

Gromit,
I've been looking at the little rash guard shirts and we've been practicing in the bath tub. She'll be swimming in no time. 8)
I just have to figure out how to keep the skeeters off of her.

One of my clients, also a fellow STJ-aholic, ordered her a t-shirt from Ruth. How cute is that?

Thanks Bug,

I've been thinking of you a bunch, too.
I'd love for you to meet her. Maybe on the island, eh?
I'm voting for spring.
Gotta get that baby wet!

I was wondering how things worked out and started searching archive - I missed this while on STJ!

Congrats, I hope things are working great.

Have you figured out what causes these things?

Cheers, RickG
