I went to Isla Muheres almost 20 years ago....where did the time go...

I went with a sweet little green eyed cajun girl from way down in Loosana.....long before kids....ahhhh the memories.

Gymnastika - enjoy yourself on your trip! I would say I'm jealous, but I did just get 8 nights on St. John a few weeks back. Counting my blessings. Safe travels, cold drinks, large laughs and sunny skies are my wishes for you.

This evening I put orange mini lights around my front door and put out my punkin', which I'll carve on Friday when I'm off work. After that I put together a batch of white chicken enchiladas and refried black beans. Yum!

My man tells me Cruzan Guava is good with Cranberry juice. I haven't had it yet.

I keep saying I'm going to drink, but I've just been too tired. I have been putting that new Caribbean Cinnamon Cream coffee creamer in my java every morning.

As for being fluffy, I'm going to have to go through my bag and make sure I'm not too fat for my shorts (not sure what to do if I am). I'm not too worried with what other people think, but I need clothes that fit. Of course, it's too late to lose weight at this point!

Last Saturday I sat outside in front of a blazing chimera overlooking Mousam Lake with a steaming mug of Captain Morgan & fresh apple cider smoothed out with a melted pat of butter. Between sips, we toasted marshmallows. Mmmmmm....

I'd like to chime in a bit about ass size and the beach.

In most cases, I am not a bathing suit wearer. My ass size is big & coupled with the palest skin this side of vampirism- Not a pretty site.

But, on STJ, I don't give a hoot.

Reason #1- I'm paying a lot to be in paradise so if I lose the weight or not, I'm going to gosh darn well enjoy myself uninhibited-like.

Reason #2- The beaches aren't crowded enough to bother me. If I pull up to one that is, I find one that isn't and be free!!

Reason #3- Just cuz I'm fat doesn't mean I don't deserve to have fun at the beach!

I do understand wanting to lose weight before vaca though. I plan on it everytime! I fail everytime too. But I still enjoy my vaca!!

Hot rum and apple cider sounds lovely. I might find a mug of that in my hand this evening.

I'm not a small person, but next week I will spend my entire week in a swimsuit. I have cute and flattering suits, so I'm not worried about it. I am the same way -- I pay a lot for my trip and if someone is so concerned about my appearance that they let it interfere with their trip, then I don't know what to tell them.

I've been wanting to have a mug of hot apple cider with vanilla rum and a shot of cinnamon schnapps. It's just about that time!

I know gymnastika you are gone, but maybe you'll read this at some point. I LOVE Isla, but haven't gotten back there since we started going to St. John. I'll be anxious to hear a trip report!

I was staying in Wells but we took a spin out there. Had lunch and went to Country Treasures for a little shopping :)
