Trip Report, Part VI: Out with a Bang (or rumble)
Wonderful reports and I enjoyed them so much!
I grew up in a place where earthquakes are common, but my husband didn't. I remember when he had his first quake. He was on the verge of freaking out - and it wasn't even remotely a big quake. I can only imagine you having your first quake... a big one... on St. John... and on the TOILET. Cool!
Hope you can make it back to the island sooner than you think!

Thanks everyone! And don't feel too sorry for me - I think I mislead everyone into thinking our next trip might not be for three more years. I just meant our next GROUP trip. Dave and I do one or two big trips a year, so we may get back down, but it'll just be the two of us. 36 months between trips is just too long!

Good report
Yo...Thank you for taking the time to let us in on your stay. I also had my first earth quake on St John a few years ago in Dec. I had just come out of the shower and I thought I heard a cement truck falling down the hill. Then the vibration and movment just like you described. Watched it go down the hill right into the water. 32 days till toes in the sand. God bless....Bill
