Yes it looks like the worst has passed the VI at this point. Satellite images look like the sky is about to clear over STX - should be a sunny morning.

Thank goodness Omar's track was more easterly which probably spared the VI's the worst.
Based on the track and storm rotation, wondering how the north shore and east end of STJ fared since they probably saw the most surge.
Hoping everyone's safe and also hoping to hear good reports later this a.m.

I just got back and other than a few little scraggly branches down not much to report. Nice big moon and very calm. Oh and a house slid down a hill yesterday afternoon..

Sounds encouraging. Except for the house, hope all other reports are similar. Good to hear from you. Thanks for the update.

Are you kidding me? Did it go way to the east of us?
There are some twigs on the deck. And a few leaves.

Other than the house going down the hill (!) it sounds like it was not too bad for St. John. I hope everyone on St. Croix made out OK also.

The web cam on the dock just came back up with the restoration of power.
Looks like our boat is still there!
This is all just such a huge relief.....
Somebody pinch me.

Hi Ruth! Are you having any luck with cell phones? My Sprint is out and I cannot reach friends on ATT...how about you?

My Sprint is working fine. I just called Randy and Marcia at Reef Madness and woke them up.

We have ATT and have full bars. I've made several calls already.
