I know this isn't exactly what you had in mind with this thread - but here's a little sandscrit my boy and I did back in December:

Very nice, sox. What a cutie!

Yes, Jorge. I have this internal yearning to be loved!

In fact, while calculating how to best get back in the good graces of the masses here, I thought about posting this as a seperate thread titled..."Here's something warm and fuzzy".

Absolutely...Well, with the new baby, I'm up anyway watching her while the wife is getting some sleep.

Anyway, you think Drew could've made a bit better effort on that throw? From about 200', he throws a 2-hopper, up the line.

Oh well, it's back to Fenway with Lester on the mound. They got their win in Tampa - last night would've been gravy.

How about Bay? Seems he's adjusted to playoff baseball nicely!

Sox Fan here. I'm tired and disappointed today. We left too many men on base! I knew we were sunk when Timlin came in. He's way past his prime.

I agree with the runners left on base...I think Ellsbury needs to sit down for a game. On the flip side of that though, the team still score 8 runs...You should always win a playoff game when you score 8 runs.

That game lies squarely on the shoulders of Josh Beckett. He was given 2 different 2 run leads, and coughed it up both times. I still don't think he's completely healthy.

I'm totally loving the Maho sand sculpture...
Can't help it...
In other news, I'm praying for the Phillies to meet your Sox on 10/25...

Sorry kids, no sand today  If that webcam was pointed down the beach you could watch me look like an idiot trying not to get my shoes wet. You're right Ruth, should have brought my waders.

Ok Sand Script experts...

What time of day is it best to write in the sand?

Thinking that low tide and sun position might play a big factor. Would like to send a message to the granddaughter next month when we are down.

Thanks

Tell me you stayed up to 1:40am to finish watching da game last night. Man I'm dragging today.
Dude - the Sox are in trouble. I know Garza was good today, but really, they showed absolutely nothing in terms of "want to" today. Better bring it tomorrow!

BTW - Dustin Pedroia can flat out hit. And big Papi seems to have forgotten how to. :(
