Amy, I've really enjoyed your trip reports. Didn't you just love the Ajax Mtn location? We have rented several villas on Bordeaux Mt. and we just love it up there.

Katie, my son's friend J is nearly family to us--they've been best friends since they were 3, and his family and ours are really close. They've never once had an argument in all the years they've been friends (knock on wood!). Plus, he'd been to STJ before (we went with his whole family last time), and he LOVED snorkeling and all the critters on the island, so I knew it would work out great.

Sorry everyone for bombarding you with our whole trip report in 2 days--the only chance I really get to work on something that long is during the weekend! Glad you enjoyed it. I love reading all the other reports, especially with photos, so it's the least I can do.

Amy - I loved the quick succession of reports. I'm waiting semi patiently  for more from Flip Flop

I meant to mention that I loved your pics. My MIL is a photographer and just bought a G9 for the "family" I'm considering buying an underwater housing for it, and borrowing it for our March trip.

Thanks again

jdw, I am sad they are over, too! Tonight I made myself my own version of a rum punch so I could relive the trip a little (dark rum, splash of lime juice, splash of OJ, fill the glass up with sparkling cranberry--I use Trader Joe's--and top with nutmeg).

Hi Amy - we loved all your reports and pictures. Thanks for taking the time to post. Took us right there. We skipped STJ this year and went to BVIs instead. Your report makes me miss STJ even more. Planning our 2009 trip now!
