Thanks everyone!!!!

Margo - I think we have seen that same thing on Nova but weren't sure if that was only one type.

The squid we saw did change colors to match their surroundings. So did the octopus I saw at Trunk last summer.

I am confident now that they were reef squid. Thanks again everyone!

I am so glad this has been settled. Now I can finally get some sleep. :wink: :P

Seriously, I did enjoy the lesson and will be checking the NOVA schedule. I love those programs. Just found out you can watch them on-line.

Ironically, last night the cuttlefish special was on. It's amazing how intelligent they are! Kinda scary in a way.
