Just wanted to report that the day Sail Charter Company responded to my e-mail letter with the following message:

"We have issued a credit to your card for the $80. deposit . Once again we are very sorry !"

So, guess that ship has sailed (pun intended) so I'm off to find another charter co. ...

How odd. I figured they'd at least try to barter with you to keep your business. Oh well... lesson learned.

Matters not to me at this point. I wasn't trying to get anything out of them, just to make sure they knew that I think they handled this badly and that I don't plan on doing business with them again.

Quite frankly I think they should be glad that I didn't name them on this board. But I am a woman of my word.

Funny that it took 6 weeks to finally charge your increased deposit, but mere hours to honor your request to credit your deposit :?
