upcoming trip
Have a great time! I wish I could go in your suitcase! We had 17" of snow on Friday!
Today it is about 20 degrees. What is it in STJ, about 88?
I like the idea of packing old clothes and discarding them. They never seem to fit back in the suitcase on the way home.

We can hardly wait for your trip. It's been a fun build-up as the forum has been reading and helping you with your planning.
Some advice from our experience regarding your statement:
Have fun (tick, tick, tick...)
Some advice from our experience regarding your statement:
Canon provides both a wrist strap and a neck strap with their underwater case. Couldn't tell by your statement which strap you meant but the wrist strap is best for snorkeling. Leave the neck strap off or it will get in the way. Neck strap is useful if you use the case while boating, tubing, skiing etc.Coden wrote: B- Recv'd underwater case and slap straps on Friday.

Hey Bob&Anita - The case did come with two straps. Thanks!
The "Slap Strap" is for my mask. This is what the company I bought it from called it. A slap strap. It replaces the rubber mask strap that came with the mask, it was killing my hair.
I'm so excited and Thank Everyone here for all of their help. I only hope I can do have as good as the others have on my trip report.
