Kenny was at the ballgame in Baltimore on the evening of the 17th. He was interviewed on television.

Well, based on the time I saw him and his bus he could have easily caught a flight to Baltimore for a baseball game so I am sticking with my sighting

We chartered a Cat. last year and the Capt. told us some stuff about Kenny that makes me feel differently about him. I like his music but he does not sound like a very nice guy. By the way, if anyone is interested his place in Peter Bay is up for sale for 14 million..Talking to my accountant to see if it's feasible...LOL!

I'm not a Kenny Chesney fan. Nothing against him, but I have only heard the blue chair album and about three other of his songs (I'm not a country girl). However, I have to say that you should not believe the stories the boat captains tell you. It's kind of like going to Hollywood and taking one of those "Tour the houses of the Stars" bus rides. They are making up stories to entertain you, keep your interest, and hopefully make you want to tip them.

I know for a fact that he has not owned a house in Peter Bay for at least three years, maybe longer. I remember reading about the sale in either the Tradewinds or the Daily News. But, the idea that he lives there makes for a good story as you are sailing by. :D

That house is not in Peter Bay though--it's up on Caneel Hill. I actually asked about that house a couple of years ago because I noticed it from the water when we were snorkeling. We had thought about staying at what was then Lyon's Pride, now Spellbound, and that house is next door, and, obviously, looks much nicer. I did not know he owned it and asked who repped it because I wanted to find out how much it went for. I guess I know now. :P

X and Liamsaunt - It's so strange (and exciting) to see people write about RI. I spent some of my summers in Weekapaug - a little village of Westerly. My grandparents built a house there in the 50's and it's now home to my uncle and aunt. I try to spend time there each summer - even if it's just a day trip! (Rhode Islander- cross the street - pack a lunch) It's a small world.Today was a beach day - or it would have been but for the remora's birthday party. Maybe tomorrow....
X - do you live near the RI border? We're between Providence and Newport....

We are in northern CT but Chip's mother grew up in Jamestown and then Wakefield so he spent time there as a child visiting his grandmother.
My best friend is in Bristol and has a summer house on Hog Island so we spend a lot of time in RI.

He makes some very good music and is an unbelievable success in his industry. The shows, I'm told, are something to see.

There are, however, too many stories about him (some well documented) from different sources to not give it some credibility. Our NHII hostess said that he "did some not-very-nice things" to her girlfriends. Based on the way it came up and the way she told it, both my wife and I found it to be believable rather than more Kenny bashing. That along with that famous story where he and Tim McGraw took that Buffalo police officer's horse a few years ago   tell me that he is capable of such things.

Weekapaug! I think that's where we used to go to the beach. It was a while ago so my memory is kind of fuzzy. For some reason I remember Watch Hill the best, probably because of the flying horses carousel.

I saw pics of him with the some girl at the orioles game.........surprised she was not on the bike with him.
You are right X if you saw him early he could have been coming back from Baltimore.........nice ride.
he was there just for batting practice and that is
before the game so........

I have to agree with liamsaunt about listening to some people's comments of kenny.
I lived on island and yes, he can be a jacka$$ but he also has given alot to the island organizations and for that I am grateful.
