Right On - So there have been some close encounters of the third kind.
To add to the fun, here's who I'd like to bump into:
Jimmy Buffett (my #1 anywhere)
Jack Johnson
and I guess Brad Pitt

"and I guess Brad Pitt". Hold on now, melmd. There's no guessing when it comes to Brad Pitt. I know he and the brood were there when he was filming some movie just a little while ago... was that when it was?
I am one of those people who probably wouldn't notice a famous person if they asked me for a favor (and wouldn't care even if I did meet them), but there are two exceptions to this rule: Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Too funny! We saw Denise Austin at the Westin as well. We were on our honeymoon in July of 2003 (our first STJ trip), waiting in line to pay for two muffins for breakfast at the little store there at the Westin, and Denise was waiting in front of us.
Were you there the same time?

We've run into and have even had very close encounters with Bandit.
Oh, and the Easter Bunny finally became less elusive in 2001 (Ruth).
Oh, oh, one more: I made a fool of myself on the "walk of woe" last year and asked a complete stranger if his name was Jorge (this is not a joke). It was NOT Jorge but he kinda looked like him and I knew he was leaving the island the same day we were. So, I met some guy who looked like Jorge.
That's pretty much it for me.

Oh no, what's wrong with Tigger?

He had a paralytic syndrome common to his breed. More info at on-stjohn.com.
JC said that she saw Tigger walk the stairs near the shop yesterday. However, JC had been paralyzed in her Beach Bar chair for 7 hours.
Cheers, RickG

Bradgelina was staying at Caneel in December of 2006. We did not see either one, but the island was abuzz over it. Supposedly, Brad was shooting a movie on Water Island.
We spotted my husband's gastroenterologist (sp?) while at the beach last year. (I bet he rented a very expensive villa, with our money!)

I'll be on island May 6-16th. I need to have my publicist get to work on my public schedule.
Autographs are $5 each.
